Members of the Brussels Poetry Collective: Taha Adnan, Adolfo Barberá, Frank De Crits, Geert van Istendael, Ramón Neto and Bart Vonck will take part in the Tribute to Pasolini organized by Passa Porta on 6th March.
Forty years ago, on the night of 1st November 1975, the acclaimed poet, novelist, social critic and film director Pier Paolo Pasolini was murdered in a most gruesome manner on the beach at Ostia near Rome.
The international house of literature Passa Porta, continuing its tradition of large-scale multilingual readers’ tributes, invites Pasolini admirers to recite and comment on their favourite passage from his literary work. At the end of the event, Pasolini will be awarded the fifth “Passa Porta Noble Prize“, a nod to all those major authors who never received a Nobel Prize: http://www.passaporta.be/fr/agenda/hommage-a-pasolini
